Locking Account Codes to prevent authorisation of Purchase Orders

 

For many reasons, from time to time you may wish to temporarily suspend one or more purchase accounts budgets from being able to authorise new orders without preventing orders from being created

There is now a field for doing just that !

In the Purchase Account Code edit screen, you will see a field entitled 'Account Locked' :

Unsurprisingly it does what it says - and locks the account to prevent normal authorisers from authorising any PO's on that account code

Note : only admin users or those with permission to delete purchase account codes can change the Account Locked field
