Updating Repairs in TBS

To keep repair jobs information as up to date as possible there is an 'easy' interface for technicians to be able to update their workloads, described below :

Individual Technicians Log

There is a specific page for each technician to display repair jobs assigned to them - initially select the page : /tbs/repair/ :

Here the user simply has to add their user ID for TBS - no password required (so this should remain an 'internally available' resource only !) :

After logging in their current list of repair jobs is shown :

Clicking on any part of any job within the list displays more information on that job:

For many actions it is simply a case of either scanning a new location if an item has been moved (perhaps on to a bench or back to a storage location) - or changing the status of the repair job from the dropdown list of available status entries

However if for example you want to update the notes on the job, you can click on the Edit Repair Job button to do that:

Note : you can manually edit the hours worked on the item here if you wish, or add a 'reminder' next action along with a date

Alternatively if you wish, you can access the timesheets for that repair job using the 'Timesheets For This Job' button - which allow TBS to calculate from these entries the total hours worked on a given job for billing purposes :
