Integration with Apple Mail in TBS2

TBS2 can integrate with Mail for sending emails, sync'ing contacts and clients as well as issuing calendar events.

To start sending emails out of TBS via your lcoal copy of Mail, you should go to the System Administration section and to Local Computer Preferences :

Once this has been set then you can send emails from TBS in the same normal way - via the email edit screen, but when you click on the Send Mail button, your email is then sent via your local Mail application. (So mail can be found in your Sent Mail box in Mail as well as within TBS)

Note : any custom signature that you have set in your local Mail application (which may include logos etc) will be appended to the TBS email message.

There is now also a button in the mail edit screen to allow you to select an email address directly from your Address Book email contacts list :

If you follow the link below to sync your TBS contacts and clients with your Address Book, this may provide an easy way to select the intended email address, or you can use the Client Name Lookup and/or Contact Name Lookup fields as before. Note : if you lookup a client in the Client Name Lookup, then the Contact Name Lookup will display only contacts of that client, however if you do not choose a client name first, the Contact Name lookup will search from ALL contact names.

If you select multiple email addresses in the Address Book list, then the first one is set as the main 'to' address and any subsequent selections are added to the CC list for you.

Attachments

If you need to add any attachments to a TBS email, then there is now an easier way to achieve this.

You can use the Add Attachment button in the email edit screen as before, which opens a file selection screen, or simply drag the file from wherever it may be (on your desktop etc) and drop this anywhere within the email edit screen. It will sort out the file for you and add it to the attachments list for sending on that email.....
